Hydrogeologist

Finding economical solutions for the effective supply of suitable water, which is low carbon and isn't climate-dependent, is essential for the effective functioning of industry, business and communities.

Due to the ongoing success of our growing water resources team, we are currently seeking experienced hydrogeologists to play a key role in the winning and execution of projects for a wide range of industrial and government clients.

**As a member of a busy hydrogeology team in Perth, this position offers excellent variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Supporting the winning and delivery of projects for the planning and execution of hydrogeological investigation and assessments
- Conducting preliminary surveys of groundwater with Mining Engineers, and other mineral scientists and engineers
- Conducting studies of the earth's geology and the groundwater contained in it
- Carry out fieldwork including groundwater exploration, dewatering and environmental programmes to assess the potential quantity and quality of groundwater resources present by drilling, testing and sampling the geology and groundwater
- A variety of small to medium sized projects that the team is delivering, as well as working within a globally connected multidisciplinary team on major projects
- Supporting and managing the delivery of high-quality field investigations, data management and technical reporting
- Investigation and laboratory report writing, preparation of proposals and bids for projects
- Demonstrating your industry knowledge and experience to develop and maintain client relationships
- Developing your skills working closely with experienced professionals on a range of projects
- Mentoring more junior members of the Hydrogeology Team
