- to mid-level position for a Hydrogeologist in our Perth, Western Australia. **_Job Description_**

The position requires a solid understanding of hydrogeological principles and practices and experience with object-oriented computer programming languages. Programming experience with Python is not required, but preferred. Other job duties will include working on quality assurance / quality control procedures for modeling, report preparation, and technical presentations to clients, regulators, and other interested parties.

**_Required Qualifications_**
- BS/BA in Geosciences, Engineering, or a closely related field that includes training in partial differential calculus and numerical methods
- MSc in Hydrogeology, Civil Engineering or a similar field with an emphasis in groundwater hydrology and/or numerical modeling
- Proficient in Python and associated data science frameworks (Pandas, Matplotlib,)
- Proficient in decision-making support tools used in groundwater modelling (PEST, PESTPP-HP, Flopy, PyEmu)
- Proficient in Spanish

**_Preferred Qualifications_**
- 2-10 years of applicable experience with a primary emphasis on groundwater modeling
- Hands-on experience developing, implementing, and documenting numerical flow and transport models, as well as performing quantitative uncertainty analysis
- Python coding experience
