Community Infrastructure Project Officer

Be part of the specialised team that leads and supports the delivery of the social infrastructure that meets the needs of our local community. You will be supporting the Community Infrastructure Planning team in the development and implementation of programmes, projects, initiatives and forums that result in well-designed and accessible infrastructure, now and in the future. In addition to providing administrative support to the team, you will also coordinate the planning of various projects, administering grants and maintaining records to compliance/governance requirements.

Communication and engagement with the community is essential for this team, giving you the opportunity to utilise your sound verbal and written communication skills, particularly in terms of consulting with internal and external stakeholders including residents. A team player, you are able to manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines and also juggle priorities. You have an interest in community infrastructure and public open space development and understand the importance of appropriate facilities for the community.

You must have a relevant qualification in Business Administration, Financial Planning, Infrastructure Planning, Community Development or in a related discipline. A current and valid ‘C’ Class Drivers licence is essential.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, including the preparation of high level correspondence
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise and prioritise multiple tasks
- Sound interpersonal, consultation and facilitation skills
- Previous experience in a project delivery, project administration or project assistant role delivering community development services or community planning and / or infrastructure outcomes
- Experience in the preparation and administration of external and internal grants for major infrastructure projects

We are offering a gross salary of **$82,627** per annum, and:

- 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
