We are now pleased to be recruiting for a Communities Engagement Officer. This role will be the face of Lendlease’s Sunshine Coast development project and you will be responsible for supporting the project management team on site with flexible part time working hours.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Presence on site to support construction activities, during clearing and construction in relation to media and the local community.
- Manage the public relations activities day to day.
- Prepares communication material for projects, events and activities.
- Deliver key messages across the intranet, e-newsletter, employee events, corporate employee videos and brochures.
- Facilitate employee engagement and ensure dissemination of accurate information and/or media releases, statements, briefing strategies and key messages, managing consistent external messaging.
- Reporting into the Regional Development Manager and supporting ad hoc across other projects within QLD.

ABOUT YOU:

- Relevant qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism and/or public relations combined with a demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge.
- Experience in a marketing and/or public relations role that includes external stakeholder relations skills.
- The ability to influence people and manage public demands across our construction project.
- Problem solving, technical and analytical skills with the ability to work through complex issues and guide and coach others in the resolution of problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to disseminate information, facilitate decision making and build relationships with key stakeholders.
