We’re Hiring: Dental Assistant | $30-$35/hr | Mount Cotton

3-5 days a week 8:00am-5:15pm

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll provide chairside support to our dentists and ensure each patient’s experience is comfortable, safe, and efficient. Your responsibilities will include:

- Chairside Assistance: Preparing treatment rooms, and assisting during a range of procedures
- Infection Control: Sterilising instruments, maintaining operatory cleanliness, and adhering to all infection-control protocols
- Exposing and processing digital radiographs (X-rays)
- Lab & Administrative Tasks

We seek someone who is:

- Qualified & Experienced: Hold a recognised Dental Assisting qualification or equivalent; (ideal but not required)
- previous experience in a general practice setting is highly valued
- Compassionate & Professional: Demonstrate genuine empathy, excellent interpersonal skills, and a patient-focused mindset
- Technically Proficient: Comfortable using digital radiography systems, intraoral cameras, and dental practice management software
- Detail-Oriented & Organised: Able to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively during busy clinic hours
- Team Player: Thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate clearly with dentists, and front-desk staff, and contribute positively to the practice culture
