**Job Description**:
**The Role**
- 9+ years of experience in IT projects involving GE Smallworld solution implementation for global customers. At least 2 water utilities implementation experience.
- Providing expertise on the solution architecture of the latest version of GE Smallworld and its components.
- Participate in the technical optioning process of the requirements in the options / design stage. Ensure solution alignment to architecture principles, standards, frameworks and patterns.
- Carrying out a GAP analysis on the Field Use requirements and the potential options for meeting business requirements.
- Documenting the TO BE Architecture in approved templates and managing the internal consultation and endorsement.
- Responsible for overall end to end architecture of the GIS platform covering latest version of GE components, satellite systems, downstream and upstream systems.
- Hands-on development experience and in Solution Design, Technical design, Data model design for Smallworld solution.
- Experience in legacy GIS Smallworld data extractions would be preferable (with specific experience on FME, data cleansing approach)
- Experience in Programming languages Magik, SQL and Java is desirable.
- Experience on basic features and functionalities on Databases like Oracle, Maximo and PostgreSQL/SQLite is preferable.
- Significant client facing experience as GIS Consultant role. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Implement or participate in testing, change management and training plans to ensure the quality of releases and ongoing services.
