Immediate Start | Monday to Friday | 42+ hours per week | Potts Hill Location

Sydney Water supplies water, wastewater, recycled water and storm water services to more than five million people in the Greater Sydney area. They currently have excellent opportunities available for reliable and committed individuals to join their growing teams across Sydney.

As part of the production team you will be responsible for ensuring Sydney Water customers receive consistently high quality and reliable water services. You will be provided with 4 weeks of training based in Potts Hills, however will be required to travel to multiple sites once training is completed.

This position is Monday to Friday (42 hour week) paying $40 per hour.

Duties include, however not limited too;
- Assist experienced crews on job sites
- excavation of trenches, pipe laying and restoration
- Truck driving
- steel fixing using both mechanical and manual methods to complete projects
- General labouring duties such as; cutting, lifting and carrying steel, shovelling, raking, concreting and unloading / loading vehicles
- Operating machinery, plant equipment and various hand and power tools.
- Traffic Controlling
- Basic administrative duties

To be successful for the role:

- White Card
- Confined space ticket (or willing to obtain prior to commencing)
- MR driver’s licence (essential)
- Physically fit for general labouring duties
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Must have a Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain prior to commencing) and undergo a Police Check
