An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Aegis team as a Housekeeping Services Consultant, working within our Facility Services Team. Although based at our central office in Burswood you would regularly travel to all our Facilities offering support and guidance to the Facility Managers and the housekeeping services teams. This is a Full-time position working Monday to Friday.

As an integral part of the team, you will:

- Provide support, direction and advice to Facility Managers and training key Housekeeping Staff in relation to the provision of high-quality services.
- Undertake regular reviews and development of laundry and cleaning operations, including liaison with external providers.
- Evaluate options, maximise efficiency and implement effective systems for service delivery.
- Develop, promote, and conduct competency-based learning programs for housekeeping and laundry staff.
- Develop and conduct internal auditing programs which assist in the monitoring if internal compliance and promote quality improvement initiatives.
- Seek innovation and improvement in staff development processes and procedures.
- Act as resource for all staff within the organisation and establish external networks to strengthen access to appropriate expertise.
- Other duties as requested by the executive directors.

**Requirements of the role**
- **Aged Care Experience (desirable)**:

- Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
- Able to work cooperatively within a team and with a wide range of people.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, with good organisation and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Use initiative and deal with unexpected situations.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning and laundry operations, including the safe used of chemicals.
