15545r Factory Labourers/packers

We have a number of roles available in the new year as part of our production. We are urgently seeking the following roles:

- **Factory Labourer**:Operate a machine powered press to cut, shape and form aluminum ensuring safe work procedures are adhered.
- **Packer/Forklift Operator**:Packing long lengths of aluminum (up to 15kg) ready for dispatch. This includes loading, unloading and moving product with forklift, keeping work areas clean and tidy and ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures

- This role will start as temporary labour hire (but permanent opportunities may present in the future).
- We roster both day (5:00am - 3:00pm) and night (5:00pm - 3:00am) shifts Monday to Friday (Roster is rotational - one week of days and one week of nights).
- Casual hourly rate on day shift is $27.51 and night shift is $31.64 PLUS OVERTIME paid after 10 hours and for entire shift if rostered on weekends.

**To be considered for this work, you will need**:

- Previous labouring and/or forklift packing experience (ideally in a factory environment) with **two contactable work references**:

- Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance
- Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely
- Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided)
- Appropriate work wear including steelcap boots, long pants yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts
- Availability to commence asap at Loganlea
