Ally Fashion has a stellar opportunity for a talented copywriter to join our Online team, specializing in creating engaging and on-brand copy for a broad range of categories across our websites. You will be a passionate copywriter who has a solid understanding of how digital content is consumed and presented for the retail, fashion, and e-commerce industry.

You will be able to create original, tailored content with user engagement and search engine optimization being the focus. You will be experienced with key word research and campaign content writing.

**Your duties and responsibilities are**:

- Upholding the Ally Fashion ‘voice’ - you’ll research and write e-commerce advertising content including product descriptions, buying guides, brand pages, services and promotional banners — which drive conversion-to-purchase.
- Liaise with merchant and product teams, as well as key stakeholders, to plan and deliver a premium standard of copy that informs and inspires customers.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth of our websites through the creation of targeted, SEO-friendly product copy.
- Take ownership of the ongoing development of the brand’s tone-of-voice, editorial policies and style guides.
- Review content prior to publication to ensure accuracy and compliance and confirm that all output meets brand and editorial requirements — and is aligned with marketing objectives.
- Writing, reviewing, editing and proofing across a range of communication material.
- Work with the Marketing team to research, concept and workshop content ideas that are aligned with our marketing and communications calendar and events.
- Write and edit copy for our brand, always-on owned and paid channels, flyers and signage, and other content projects.
- Monitor content effectiveness, show pro activity with new ideas and constantly iterate messaging to ensure we deliver on our objectives.
- Write product descriptions for both websites.

**The requirements for the role include**:

- 1-2 years of experience in a copy writing role preferably in a fashion e-commerce environment.
- Ability to write content for a range of formats such as website, social, eDM, and advertising and adapt writing style to suit different audiences and objectives.
- Outstanding writing and communications skills.
- Passionate to write about the fashion industry.
- Exemplary editing skills and acute attention to detail.
- Content Management System (CMS) experience, particularly Magento.
- Knowledge of keyword placement and SEO best practices is ESSENTIAL.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products especially Word and Excel.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Adaptive to constructive criticism.
- Commitment to accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of social marketing and digital trends and best practices.
- Ability to produce quick creative copy and headlines and come up with ideas under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to priorities workload.
