Clifford Park Special School is situated in the city of Toowoomba (Queensland's largest inland city: pop-170,000). Sitting on the edge of the Great Escarpment and the rich Darling Downs, Toowoomba is where you'll find a vibrant cultural, dining and entertainment scene, beautiful parks and gardens. You will be a pleasant 45 minutes' drive to the large historic town of Warwick, and have close access to Brisbane and the coasts.
Clifford Park Special School established in 1990, aims to provide a supportive learning environment where individual students achieve educational outcomes to assist them in their transition to post school life. Clifford Park Special School is a high school for young people with disability and students present with complex profiles. All students enrolled are diagnosed with an Intellectual Disability, whist some have multiple impairments (physical or sensory including Autism Spectrum Disorder). The 120+ students who are currently enrolled benefit from modem technology (internet, interactive whiteboards, iPads, laptops) as well as a heated swimming pool, in-ground trampoline and sensory play area.
