Sustainability Education Officer

**About the role**
- Raise awareness and engage stakeholders in promoting sustainable activities;
- Reduce energy, waste and water usage that contributes to reduced emissions; and
- Increase the understanding of ecosystems and biodiversity.

The starting salary for this position is $38.86 per hour plus 12% superannuation.

**About you**
- experience with design and development of promotional materials such as: media releases; displays; website content; surveys; brochures etc.
- demonstrated verbal and written communication skills: facilitation; interpersonal; and public presentation skills.
- an ability to work both independently and effectively within a team, and with a wide variety of different parts of the community.
- computer literacy with specific expertise in MS office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- knowledge and experience of community engagement and public participation planning and evaluation is an advantage.
