**Your Impact**
Your new role is part of Yappy’s Sales team and reports to our VP of Sales. This is a **full-time, ongoing, permanent technical sales role**based in our Perth (Subiaco) office. Your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting (heavy emphasis on cold calling) through to closing contracts with respect to our Decision Chain Influence software platform - a tool to help great companies get seen and understood, a visibility engine for active deals and accounts that matter and a system to reach stakeholders that others can’t.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline, executing an enterprise selling motion that consistently achieves activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Develop a prioritised account list aligned with Yappy’s Ideal Customer Profile, supported by tools such as Apollo.
- Conduct targeted prospecting to secure meetings with C-Suite buyers (CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CMOs and other digital decision-makers), uncover growth challenges, and position Yappy as the only software platform and technical solution that can comprehensively educate and align decision chains in live deals.
- Log and maintain critical sales data in Yappy’s CRM for pipeline visibility and seamless handover to Customer Success.
- Qualify opportunities using MEDDBICC or equivalent methodologies.
- Run structured discovery to shape compelling value propositions.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations, showcasing technical features, integrations and use cases to senior decision-makers and C-Suite executives.
- Engage in high-level conversations on revenue strategy, growth challenges, and executive priorities.
- Draft and negotiate business cases, proposals, Statements of Work (SoWs), and contracts.
- Deliver accurate forecasts using Yappy’s forecasting methodology.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to ensure strong handover, client expansion, and renewals.
- Represent Yappy at industry and marketing events to generate qualified opportunities.
**What We’re Looking For**
You’re a hungry, experienced Account Executive ready to sell something game-changing, and you bring with you:
- At least three years of proven full-cycle experience selling Information and Communications Technology products, preferably Software, SaaS, or Digital Infrastructure, with a very strong outbound/cold-calling track record.
- Experience in other complex technical sales, such as cybersecurity, data analytics, AI, or enterprise technology solutions, will also be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding technical features, integrations, and use cases for both software and SaaS products.
- Skilled in selling to C-Suite level digital decision makers (CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CMOs, etc) and managing long, complex B2B sales cycles.
- Strong contract and negotiation experience (including SoWs).
- Analytical approach: able to research org structures, map influence, and tailor solutions.
- Startup or small tech company experience where you have thrived in fast-paced, competitive environments.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
