**About the team**:
Our Store Development team is constantly challenging the possibilities of retail design. It’s not only an exciting environment to work in, but also a rewarding one too. Every day, we work with innovative formats and concepts to connect with customers and improve their in-store experiences, no matter the size or layout of our stores.
With three iconic brands (First Choice Liquor Market, Liquor land and Vintage Cellars) to our name, our Liquor team is well on its way to becoming Australia’s favourite drinks retailer, serving up everything from premium wines and craft beers to spirits from local distilleries.

**About the role**:
In these 2 years fixed term opportunity for a Planning Manager (store design) you will interpret the Liquor briefs, develop store plans, and manage the end-to-end process. You will co-ordinate, engage, partner with, and influence a varied number of stakeholders across multiple projects.

You will also:

- Design and manage store plans to ensure that the optimal layout is created for the business.
- Provide architectural and technical advice that relates to concept and project plans.
- Partner with Coles/ Liquor Project Managers to ensure all Liquor stores are opened to the signed off agreed plan
- Manage the planning input to key approval meetings, working with all state teams to ensure quality of presentations and accuracy of plans
- Interpret and understand key financial metrics to influence decisions

**About you and your skills**:
In this role you will need to have highly developed communication and influencing skills to partner closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Working at pace and across multiple projects as part of a leading Australian retailer is an exciting opportunity.

You will also need:

- Proven working knowledge of CAD and REVIT required
- Comprehensive experience working with architects, quantity surveyors, engineers and building contractors
- Degree in architecture, interior design or industrial design will be well regarded, technical architectural drafting or related area essential.
- Previous experience working in the retail design background highly regarded
- Knowledge of construction details, costing/budgeting experience to ensure project delivery
- Developed communication and influencing skills
