Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced CSSD technician looking for a new position? Join our dynamic perioperative team on a permanent part time basis.

**About the role**:
This opportunity will see you our join our CSSD team to support the sterilisation and supply of instruments to our three operating theatres. Your duties will include:

- Ensure sterilizing practice standards AS/NZ 4187 (2003) and infection control are adhered to at all times.
- Perform duties in all work areas of the department (decontamination, packing, sterilization and loan instruments).
- Ability to plan, manage resources and understand the importance of prioritized equipment
- Perform other duties as specified by the CSSD Manager or Nurse Unit Manager

Peninsula Private is a 70 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 3 operating theatres located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthamology and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane northside.

**Essential Criteria**
- Certificate III in sterilizing Services
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Committed to maintaining currency in practical skills and knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work well in a team as well as independently
- Able to prioritize, plan and take the initiative to respond to changes
