**Full Job Description**:
A great opportunity has become available to join the Chelgrave Contracting maintenance team. We are looking for a Qualified Industrial Electronics Technician to take up a Permanent role on one of our clients sites, BlueScope Steel on the Mornington Peninsula.

**About the role**:

- Diagnose, test & rectify faults in Electronics and Communication equipment
- Troubleshoot digital & analogue systems including amplifiers, regulators, AC & DC drives
- Have a good working knowledge of op amp & logic theory
- PLC I/O card repairs
- Video & CRT equipment
- The ability to draw circuits from existing circuit boards and cards
- A working knowledge of instrumentation

**About You**:

- Qualified Electrician A Grade unrestricted Licence
- Minimum Cert IV in Electronics with preferably an Associate Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering
- 3 Years post trade maintenance experience on Industrial Electronic equipment & Systems.
- A radiation licence would be an advantage
- Experience within a Heavy Industrial environment desirable
- Be well organised with an eye to improving systems
- Analytical and methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving.
- Reliable, great attention to detail an a high level of self-initiative
- Exposure to a wide range of manufacturing equipment & processes
- Strong commitment to workplace safety with a solid understanding of safe work practices and procedures
- Be prepared to work overtime
