FIFO 2:1 - Construction of a 33kV Overhead and Underground distribution network - 10.5-11 hour working days **The Business**: Formed in 2009, Genus Infrastructure stems from a long family history dating back to the 1950’s, delivering end-to-end innovative solutions in many sectors across Australia, specialising in Transmission, Distribution, Substation, Communications & Renewable Energy. **About the Position**: As an integral part of the Distribution Lines team, you will be a valued member responsible for ensuring quality construction and maintenance to ensure a reliable supply to customers, all within applicable procedures, guidelines and standards in planned and unplanned work scenarios. You will be required to adhere to Genus company procedures, standards, and client requirements and be responsible for ensuring safe work practices for yourself and your team members. This includes identifying and reporting hazards and incidents, complying with Genus Group's core values, and meeting all associated legislative requirements. **About you**: We are seeking appropriately qualified Overhead Distribution Lineworkers who can work in Australia. - Applicants must hold a current UET30621 - Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead - Applicants must hold a current High Risk Work Licence with Elevated Work Platform Class (WP) - HV/LV cable jointing qualifications will be highly regarded - C2 Crane & rigging qualifications will be highly regarded - Valid "MR" class manual driver’s licence with the ability to upgrade to HR (HR license desirable) - Demonstrated ability to work safely on distribution and transmission networks - Values teamwork & safety as a priority.
