**Your new role awaits**:
Located at our **Brooklyn** Branch, the Trades Assistant is responsible for ensuring equipment is ready for hire, by assisting with the safe and efficient maintenance, service and repair of our extensive range hire equipment. This mainly supports our Portable Buildings products, and will also include some mechanical works. You will learn the ropes in a supportive, team orientated environment.
- Promote a Safety First culture - _talk about safety to your colleagues and customer_
- Undertake fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of equipment
- Manage the maintenance and servicing schedule of equipment
- Maintain service records
- Demonstrate a clear and open communication with management
- Possess a flexible approach to changes in requirements
- Deliver exception al customer service
- Prioritise competing tasks within a fast paced environment

**About you**:
Your high levels of customer service and Can-Do attitude, are complemented by:

- A positive and helpful attitude - _you enjoy being part of a team._
- A current drivers licence (Forklift and EWP ticket desirable)
- Experience or interest in the carpentary and/or mechanical trades
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
- Effective time management, attention to detail and sound communication skills
- Direct customer interaction with a strong service ethic
