Allcare Community Support Victoria focuses on participants in the 7 to 25 and 25 plus age ranges, who have been diagnosed with a disability, who are NDIS eligible, and who are in need of support.

We have opportunities on the Eastern and Western sides of Melbourne for support workers who are enthusiastic, motivated and who have the relevant skills and experience required.

Encouraging personal development whilst also participating in activities of interest enable the participant to engage in areas of fulfilment. Additionally, personal care, light domestic duties and community access may also be required.

This position requires commitment and reliability as once a support worker is placed with a client, the client will require regular visits on a longer-term basis.

- You will have a relevant qualification, and necessary clearances required for a role of this kind including but not limited to, an NDIS Worker screening clearance, Working with Children clearance and National Police Certificate
- Evidence of 1 - 3 years previous experience working within social work, youth/community work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and engage with a variety of stakeholders
- Able to work without constant supervision
- Sound assessment and reporting skills
- A reliable, clean vehicle and clear full drivers’ licence

Time Commitment - Certain days during the week and/or on a weekend day. This is a guideline only and could differ depending on client requirements.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $41.00 - $58.00 per hour
