**About the Opportunity**
Griffith Health Clinics is a multi-disciplinary primary health care service within Griffith University. Specifically working in our student led Dental Clinic we are seeking a dynamic and passionate Dental Clinic Assistant’s to join our team.

Griffith University is currently ranked no. 2 for Dentistry and Oral Health, this is where you get to make an impact working within our multi-story 100+ chair Dental Clinic to help facilitate student placement requirements for our dental students.

As a Dental Clinic Assistant, key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Receiving and preparing patients for their appointments at the dental clinic.
- Providing assistance to staff and students across a broad range of dental treatments and procedures.
- Working in the state-of-the-art CSSD (Centre Sterilising Storage Department)
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the clinic, which includes sterilizing and maintaining dental equipment.
- Staying informed about new developments and techniques
- We have part-time and full-time positions available based at our Gold Coast campus. We have shifts available from Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm. _

Please note, internally this position is known as Dental Assistant.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will hold an Australian Dental Assistant qualification or recognised equivalent together with a current CPR / First Aid Certificate from a recognised provider or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing work.

In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:

- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under supervision and ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Strong administrative skills

**Salary range**
The full-time base salary for a HEW Level 3 is in the range $60,303 - $66,660 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total FTE package is in the range $70,554 - $77,992 per annum.
