**About the Company**
Our client sets the benchmark for solution-based engineering, specialising in the underground mining and tunnelling industries, providing a range of quality products, services, and support. In operation, for 20 years our client has developed a strong reputation for the custom design of pump stations and carries on extensive R&D design activities.
From their high-end facility in Beresfield, they service the NSW Hunter Valley region, with infield coverage through NSW right up to Central Queensland in the Mackay and Coalfields.
**The Opportunity**
Due to continued growth, our client is looking for a motivated and driven Infield Service Technician to work within a well-established business that values quality and team collaboration. Working within a dedicated team building custom-designed pump stations, longwall pump stations, and rail-bound transport and handling systems, no two days will be the same.

**Key Responsibilities**
- The ability to work unsupervised and travel to customer sites as needed and at short notice
- ONSITE building and overhauling of mining pumps, pump stations and underground monorail systems
- ONSITE fitting and maintaining hydraulic pumps, motors, and valve components
- ONSITE manufacturing and fitting hydraulic hose assemblies and proficiency in identifying various fluid connectors
- Ensure all workshop/site areas are kept organised, clean, and safe
**About You**
Our client is looking for self-starters, hardworking and reliable individuals that have a strong focus on safe operations, equipment upskilling, and teamwork.
You must be willing and able to travel to and from various sites across the Hunter Valley and North-West Regions of NSW during the week and at short notice.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Fitting and Machine Engineering or equivalent qualification is essential
- Valid Australian ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence and a clean driving record are essential
- Previous open-cut and underground mining experience is essential
- Current Order 43 Medical and/or current Mine Site Inductions is advantageous
- Previous experience with longwall pump stations and underground monorails is highly desirable
- Previous experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics is highly desirable
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail and procedure
- A teamwork mentality with shared values of integrity, innovation, and accountability
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise
