**Social Worker Grade 2 Leave Cover**

Multiple positions available: Ongoing role full-time (40hours inclusive ADO) or part-time (32 hours)

**About the role**:
As a Grade 2 Social Worker Leave Cover role you will be responsible for providing clinical social work services to patients across one or more of our Austin Health sites. A regular day will see you work clinically with patients, attend family meetings, clinical and non-clinical meetings, and undertake other duties that support the social work department and its operations. This role will require you to work across a range of clinical areas and campuses to support Social Work staff who are on leave.

Key responsibilities will see you:

- Provide counselling to patients and families
- Supervise grade 1 Social Workers
- Supervise Social Work students
- Participate in quality improvement, service improvement and/or research

You must have:

- A degree in Social Work and be eligible for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Worked in a hospital or health related setting
- The ability to work and contribute to team culture and work within a multidisciplinary environment
