Continuous Improvement / DBS
- Actively contribute and encourage continuous improvement
- Kamishibai - Prepare cards, train operators and monitor cadence for cell
- Update, maintain and present +QDIP cell visual management reporting charts.
- Maintain a clean and well organised manufacturing cell using 5S

Safety
- Proactive engagement in ensuring a safe working environment
- Ensure timely reporting of any EHS incidents
- Ensure cell is clear of clutter, tools stored appropriately, and floor is clear
- Timely cell audits

EHS
- Represent employees
- Respond to hazard identification or complaints quickly
- Be actively involved in workplace inspections
- Attend EHS audits & EHS meetings as required
- Provide feedback on actions taken
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Assist in devising and reviewing EHS standards, policies and procedures and disseminate information to employees
- Perform other functions as prescribed in regulatory requirements or agreed at committee meetings, so long as functions are consistent with the Act and in line with their health and safety role

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability and aptitude to assemble and test complex electromechanical devices
- Good communications skills in written and spoken English
- Ability to provide clear instructions to operators
- Basic computer skills
- Good leadership skills with ability to motivate your team whilst maintaining harmonious relations within the organisation
- Previous experience with Kanban

**Highly Desirable**:

- Completion of an Engineering production certificate or equivalent
- Experience in “high part count Manufacturing” (electronics/whitegoods)
- Experience with kanban parts replenishment system
