**About Our Facility**

Barwon Health is the largest health service in regional Victoria and based in Geelong, it is within commuting range from the west side of Melbourne. With approximately 7,000 employees, 22 sites and a broad range of services, Barwon Health plays a key role in the health and wellbeing of our local community and the Barwon South Western region.

The Community Health Centre are the health hubs for the community of Geelong and the surrounding suburbs and the Surfcoast area. All the staff at our centres are extremely friendly and innovative in delivering services to our communities. The centres are shared with numerous teams including, community rehabilitation, community nursing and immunisation, dental and mental health.

**About the Role**

In this role as a Casual Relief Receptionist you will provide an effective and efficient reception service and will contribute to the overall performance of Barwon Health. You will ensure excellent customer service and that daily work allocation occurs in an well-organised manner. As a member of the relieving team you will ensure that consumers receive a friendly and professional welcome. A focus of this role is ensuring that the administration functions support the client journey core principles of access and client centred care with a high standard of quality. It is important for you to have a very strong adaptable work ethic.

**Note**:

- It is particularly important that you have availability and flexibility to provide support to the reception teams especially at short notice, during school holiday periods, including full weeks and full days (8.15am - 5.15pm). Some weekend work may also be required.
- For this role, it is also important that you have a current Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable transport as travel is a requirement to access and support Community Health sites.
