**Ten Recruitment** is looking for a
**Project Mine Geologist** to join our mining client in WA. You will join our client for a permanent role offered on an 8:6 roster, working with their geology team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a mid-tier Mining company who has strong operating results, significant portfolio of projects and diversified commodity exposure.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Logging diamond drill core
- Routine drilling data management and QAQC
- Provide support in ore characterisation studies
- Mentor and train graduates and mine geologists
- Weekly and monthly reporting and reconciliation
- Develop and maintain all mine geology procedures
- Review and maintain quality control of geological data
- Grade control activities and ore management activities
- Plan, design and monitor underground diamond drilling
- Aid in construction and maintenance of geological models
- General duties and project work as directed by the Senior Mine Geologist
- Provide robust short-term and long-term drilling schedules to the mining department
- Identify, plan, and implement business improvement opportunities relating to mine geology

You will have:

- Great organisational skills
- A focus on safety and teamwork
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong understand of underground drilling processes
- Knowledge of Geobank, Vulcan, or Leapfrog mining software advantages

Qualification:

- Tertiary education in Geology
