**The position**:
We are looking for an experienced, committed, and enthusiastic person to join our fantastic reception team.

The position is ongoing casual with appx 12 hours with potential for increase.

You'll have a set roster, but will be expected to cover other staff members in case of illness, leave etc.

You will work with a committed team and will enjoy a varied and engaging role.

**What we are looking for in our newest team member**:

- You ideally have extensive experience in a healthcare administration role, preferably as a medical receptionist.
- You are competent in daily reception duties, self-sufficient, and able to learn new things quickly.
- You are someone who can deliver an excellent service to our patients and demonstrate a high standard of performance and conduct.
- You show initiative, and you are always looking for things to do.
- You must be flexible, adaptable and highly organised.
- You thrive on a fast-paced work environment with a remarkable ability to multitask.
- You pride yourself on maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
- You are somebody who communicates well and possesses a great phone manner.
- You are well educated, have great computer skills, and are a quick learner.
- You love to work - you are always willing to give 100% and you actively participate in the success of the business.
- You have great integrity. You are trustworthy and honest.
- You can follow direction and you are happy to receive constructive feedback
- You are a helpful and considerate person and you work well as part of a team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- You will organise appointments, maintain records and perform medical & other tasks in order to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the practice
- You will provide an exceptional standard of service to our patients and assistance to clinical staff and the practice manager.
- You will open and close the clinic as per set procedures
- You will deal with patients and callers in a courteous and efficient manner
- You will perform billing and invoicing
- You will deal with emergencies when necessary following set procedure
- You will assist doctors and nurses by making phone calls, photocopying etc.
- You will type medical reports and other relevant documents
- You will perform scanning/importing of patient correspondence, results etc with a high degree of accuracy.
