At the corner of King and Flinders, The Waterside invites Melbourne to step into something unexpected. Past-Port Dining is our heart of spice, fire and South-East Asian flavour and the people who bring it alive are just as important as what’s on the plate.

We’re looking for skilled waitstaff who know how to read the room, anticipate needs, share stories of food and wine and leave guests with a sense they’ve been part of something special

If you are genuinely passionate about hospitality. You thrive when it’s busy and bring warmth, personality and professionalism to every table. Whether you’re carrying a section, recommending a wine, or anticipating a guest’s needs, you turn each moment into an unforgettable experience.

What you’ll bring
- Experience in quality dining, with confidence carrying a section
- Strong knowledge of wine and food, or the drive to learn
- The ability to engage guests, and your team, with warmth, personality and professionalism
- Sharp attention to detail, organisation and reliability
- A love for hospitality
