Catering Manager

**Description**:
As the Catering Manager you will be responsible for the whole site and it's catering needs.
There will be some weekend and late night work from time to time with functions and events.
Will need a working with Vulnerable people check (this is in replacement of WWCC)
**The Role**:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint an energetic and friendly Catering Manager to run day-to-day operations at Burgman College
Catering for 300 students from our well-equipped facility, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys a well-run dining operation or has previously managed their own kitchen.
Previous management experience in education and/or bulk catering is desirable.
Paid parking available and easily public transport accessible.
**Roster**:
Mon - Fri (9:00am - 5:30pm) - 40 hours
**What This Role Involves**:
Management of site & all contract scoped accommodation and catering services (including texture modification and allergies)
Menu planning & stock ordering
Completing daily dietary management and patient ordering systems
Impeccable client relationship development / management
Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
Rostering & recruiting
Financial performance and P&L responsibility with a focus on labor and food costs
**Skills and Experiences**:
Trade Certificate (or equivalent)
Similar experience operating kitchens and/or site management
Exposure to a broad range of cuisine
Food Safety Certification
Resourcefulness, resilience and enthusiasm
Clear communication ability and good customer service skills
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
