The Co-Group is a growing charitable, not-for-profit (NFP) organisation which offers opportunities for support workers to provide care for clients that include in-home supports, group homes, and day centres in the disability and aged care industry. **Duties and Responsibilities of a Support Worker**:

- Personal Care
- Social support
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Assistance (prompt)
- Respite
- Domestic Assistance
- Transportation to appointments and shopping
- Develop a plan along with the client to improve their lives and follow it on a daily basis

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

- A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (a bonus - not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- A sense of humour (another bonus - not a requirement)
- Resilience and compassion
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Blue card
- Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
- The right to work in Australia

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
