Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Catering Attendants to join their partnering client Dnata Catering, located at Tullamarine Airport. Positions are for an immediate start and requiring availability across both day and afternoon shifts Monday-Sunday (rotating roster). This position will involve plating food meals, setting trays and packing food carts that will feed airline passengers during their flight. The position will involve working in various sections and completing duties such as making up of food and beverage carts, plating food onto catering trays, kitchen hand duties, assisting the chefs and working on a wash belt.

**PLS NOTE**: all successful applicants must pass a Police Check and complete client specific paperwork before commencing.

**About your new role**:

- Food plating and packaging
- Kitchen hand duties
- Assisting chefs with bulk preparation and cooking
- Working on a wash production belt
- Preparation of beverage, snack and food carts
- Manual handling, pushing and pulling of carts
- Comply with Food Safety / HACCP guidelines

**About you**:

- Proven experience in the Food manufacturing environment beneficial but not essential
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Availability to work on both rostered and on call shifts
- Reliable form of transport
- Available on both day and afternoon shift 7 days a week (for a rotating roster)
- Basic knife skills
- Knowledge of WHS and hygiene
- Impeccable presentation and grooming
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Have obtained a Certificate III in commercial cookery (preferred NOT required)
