Chandler Macleod have partnered with a chicken poultry site to find experienced and reliable Production workers for their highly automated, technologically advanced food manufacturing plant, based in Laverton North, VIC.

This facility is a further processing plant, also known as a cooked plant, that creates partially cooked products from raw and clean chicken meats. Due to the introduction of an afternoon shift, we are on the lookout for applicants who are mechanically minded with previous experience working in a food processing environment.

The Role:

- Handling raw poultry products
- Observing and monitoring high speed processing lines, operating the machinery in the fresh produce section
- Verify machine settings by conducting quality checks on production
- Undertake product changeover
- Produce quality products ensuring mínimal production downtime and wastage
- Experience in a food handling and /or food production role is essential.
- Ideally have experience in a similar role and/or are mechanically minded
- Have strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transport
- Good attention to detail
- Pro-active and resilient

Afternoon shift available, start time varying between 2-3pm, shift duration 8 hour minimum.

Must have full working rights and b available to work Monday-Friday.

**Must have a minimum of 2 Covid-19 vaccines
