Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnership has an exciting opportunity within Coastal & Islands Region, on Bribie Island to be part of a collaborative team that undertakes the operational management of Bribie Island National Park and Recreation Area.
You will play a key role in driving the protection of one of our most wonderful places. You will be the trusted face and voice of National Parks, shaping the lived experience of thousands of visitors to assisting with providing information, you are an essential part of the visitor journey.
Mandatory requirementsYou must hold a current unrestricted manual driver's licence or be prepared to obtain a manual licence if you do not. You do not require tertiary qualifications to undertake this position, however a certificate in Conservation and Land Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.It is highly desirable that the occupant of this position is a team player that has the following -- Strong communication skills
- Be self motivated
- Have compliance experience
- To work well within a team and communicate effectively with your peers and members of the public. Ability to work across a varied work program, responsible for undertaking many different types of physical and technical tasks. Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
