**About the Organisation**
The Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) NSW is the professional association for the 400,000 public servants who work in NSW. This association promotes excellence in the public service sector and enables them to build their connections, capabilities, and confidence for the purpose of serving the citizens of NSW.

**About the Role**
As the Member Engagement & Database Specialist, you will be responsible for IPAA’s membership experience. You will be the first point of contact, deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention of new and existing members. You will drive the membership strategy.

We are looking for a CRM specialist that can ensure system capabilities are maximised and can understand and translate data to provide membership insights, whilst streamlining processes and procedures.

**About the Person**

Experience within an association, member-based or peak body organisation is highly desirable but not essential.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Manage IPAA’s member experience journey and execute the membership strategy
- Drive a proactive and service-oriented approach to membership growth and retention
- Manage membership onboarding and process renewals
- Understand and translate data to provide membership insights
- Maintain accurate and up to date member data on the CRM
- Conduct reporting and general admin duties

**To be successful you will have**:

- Experience in a membership, customer experience or stakeholder engagement role
- Passionate in delivering exceptional customer service
- Professional, personable, and motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using databases and CRM systems eg. IMIS
- Ability to interpret and translate data
