**About this Opportunity**

AVK Australia Holding is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This role would suit someone with previous customer service experience within a civil/industrial environment. Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for:

- Assisting with technical sales enquiries involving prices, stock availability, outstanding orders, credit requests and any related quality issues
- Resolving all customer issues and complaints in a prompt and efficient manner, and in accordance with the QA policies
- Facilitating the entry, printing and distribution of customer sales orders
- Maintaining and updating customer records within the Sales Department
- Implementing and maintaining the customer service policy to meet customer expectations and service level targets

**About You**
- A background and knowledge of civil, trade or industrial environments (preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience in a customer service role with a focus on a technical product category
- An excellent customer service focus and an ability to manage multiple enquiries in a timely manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in developing accurate written documents
- The ability to be able to offer alternate solutions to existing processes and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be highly regarded

Salary for this role will be negotiated in line with skills and experience.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment which includes drug and alcohol testing.

**Salary**: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
