**Position Overview**:
BGIS is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Cleaning Leading Hand **to join our team at a **Singleton, NSW **. As a **Cleaning Leading Hand **, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the facility.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are met and maintained in accordance with BGIS and client expectations.
- Training: Train and mentor cleaning staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Scheduling: Coordinate and manage cleaning schedules to meet the requirements of the Defence Base, taking into consideration operational demands.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols, as well as BGIS and client policies and procedures.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on cleaning activities, highlighting achievements and addressing any issues or concerns.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
- Knowledge of cleaning practices, techniques, and equipment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of safety and security protocols in a Defence Base environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the operational needs.
