Irrigation & Pumping - Technician

- **Description**: Install high-quality irrigation and pumping solutions, custom-designed by our engineers, in a wide range of different services within irrigation, including bore and irrigation pumps, new mainline, valving and controllers installs and maintenance, bore meters, and much more.
- **Day to Day**: This is a full-time role on the field, working on the tools individually or in small teams generally of 2-4 people, in a high-intensity environment that requires discipline, knowledge, and a great attitude
- **Team**: You will be working under Michael Wallace, our Irrigation Manager, and with our Irrigation & Pumping team. You will also get the chance to engage with our Drilling and Water Licensing teams.
- **Location**: Our main yard is in Herne Hill though we work across Perth and its surrounding suburbs, from Gingin to Serpentine and inland.

Training (First 1-2 Weeks)
- As a starting point, you'll be working alongside our experienced technicians, to learn everything you need to know about the job.
- Michael, our Irrigation Manager, will be your mentor. He has many years of experience in the water industry and will make sure you've got everything you need.

The goal is that you learn your way around our irrigation service offering:

- Irrigation System Construction and Maintenance, primarily in the agricultural and commercial spaces.
- Submersible and Centrifugal Pump Installations;
- Off-Grid Solar Bore Pumping Systems Installations;
- Standard Bore Services - Pump Maintenance, Chemical Dosing, Assessments, etc;
- Bore Meter Installations.

Experience & Personal Traits We're Looking For
- Be a unique creature and bring your personality with you - if you've never been described as being somewhere between a sender and a quirky human, you will not enjoy working with our band of misfits.
- Experience in a similar role in irrigation (required).
- Knowledge in working with water bores and submersible pumps (preferred).
- Experience with diggers/excavators (required) and the corresponding ticket (preferred).

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Irrigation and/or Pumping: 2 years (required)
