**The Role**

We’re looking for a **Pump & Bore Specialist Technician** to join our irrigation field team. You’ll be the go-to legend for all things pumping and bore-related - working hands-on with submersible bore pumps, solar bore systems, and bore headworks infrastructure. While your main focus is on pumps and bores, you’ll also jump in on broader irrigation installs and maintenance work when needed.

You’ll be leading jobs, working with a small team, coordinating materials, troubleshooting on the fly, and making sure every job is delivered to a high standard.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

Install, service, and repair submersible bore pumps (single and 3-phase).
- Work with solar-powered bore systems and controller setups.
- Assist with full bore installations, headworks, and metering.
- Pitch in on broader irrigation work - mainlines, valves, filtration, controllers.
- Coordinate materials and job requirements in advance.
- Lead and mentor junior crew on-site.
- Liaise with clients and keep them in the loop.
- Work closely with the irrigation, drilling, and licensing teams.

**What You Bring**
- Solid experience in pump installation, diagnostics, and repairs - especially submersible bore pumps.
- Understanding of bore construction and headworks.
- Bonus points for solar pumping experience.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills - you’re confident running a job.
- A practical, problem-solving mindset (you don’t wait around for someone else to fix it).
- Great communication and the ability to work independently and in a team.
