We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to provide 24/7 assistance and support to a client with dementia. _A reminder that this role is casual with full-time available hours. Must be flexible to do any shift including active nights._

**Essential requirements**:

- Minimum nationally accredited completion of Certificate III in relevant Disability or Community Service field
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check
- A valid Australian driver’s license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

**About you**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in Disability and aged care settings
- Must be available to work across a rotating roster including weekdays, sleepovers and weekend shifts
- You have the ability to manage difficult situations and behaviours and be able to de-escalate these situations in a therapeutic way

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Disability support: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Australian Driver Licence (preferred)
- First Aid Certification and CPR (preferred)
- Working with Children Check/Yellow Card (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check/ Blue Card (preferred)
