**Your Role**
**Main responsibilities but not limited to**:
To be successful, the Broker Support Officer will undertake activities that result in the achievement of performance targets across a variety of measures including member focus, referring, or completing cross sell opportunities and monitoring broker submissions to ensure they meet compliance requirements.
- Maintain speed to decision conversion, SLA requirements.
- Servicing mortgage brokers efficiently and promptly with various enquires.
- Broker submission education
- Maintaining business relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Maintain technical knowledge of Australian Military Bank’s full product range.
- Authority to recommend loans as per the banks credit lending policies.
- Contributing to portfolio growth within the channel
- Refer and complete cross selling opportunities (including general insurance)
- Ensure credit quality meets standards.
- Member engagement, onboarding, and maintenance
- Maintain Training and Personal development.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Technical Skills
- High attention to detail, superior data entry and processing skills
- Exceptional time management and works proactively.
- Preferred knowledge of DEMi system
- High level credit knowledge, particularly mortgage lending
- Previous sales & cross selling experience
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to build strong relationships over the phone.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently & within a team environment.
- Solid understanding of financial services and the regulated financial services industry environment.
- Strong member focus and the ability to build positive working relationships.
Education & Qualifications
- Previous knowledge working with brokers/aggregators - preferred not essential.
- Credit knowledge - essential
- Cert IV Credit management
- Tier 2 - Banking and General Insurance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Work Experience
- At least 2 years in a similar mortgage processing role - essential
