- Are you our next Associate Maternity Unit Manager (AMUM)? Launch into a Midwifery leadership position that will deliver variety, growth and working in a fast-paced unit incorporating pregnancy assessment, birthing and postnatal ward within our Maternity Unit. Relocation support will be negotiated if you are considering a move across the ocean to our island of Tasmania.**The role**:
The Associate Midwifery Unit Manager (AMUM) is an experienced midwife who, within the defined area of practice:

- Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
- Assists the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day to day patient care activities, including patient flow.
