**The opportunity**

Coregas has a full-time opportunity for a Plant Technician, to join our team based in our **Port Kembla, NSW location **. This role will report into the Operations Shift Coordinator with the main responsibility of ensuring to safely operate the plant and equipment within the cryogenic plant, located within BlueScopes Port Kembla steelworks.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

- Safe and efficient operation of all production plant and distribution equipment
- Monitoring key parameters of the plant and equipment and taking appropriate action
- Maintain and undertake maintenance of the plant and equipment as required
- Monitor and control on-site plant operations at key customer sites, which may include call-out of local support
- Monitor bulk installations for key customers and arrange delivery of products as required
- Fill and monitor hydrogen trailers and up to 4 x ISO containers per week
- Maintain a high level of compliance to Coregas' quality, safety and environmental systems
- The ability to work across a rotating 24/7 shift pattern and holiday relief
