**The Role**

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Operations division on a full-time, permanent basis as Principal - Operations Strategic Projects.

This role will lead the identification, analysis, and execution of new and existing Operations strategic project opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the key deliverables for the role include:
- Providing strategic project related advice and planning to internal stakeholders, including the Operations senior leadership team;- Providing strategic commercial advice on operating and commercial models to drive value in delivery of the strategic operations portfolio;- Identifying and evaluating projects and opportunities within the supply chain which generate grower value;- Leading all aspects of strategic and commercial assessments on complex projects, including financial analysis, valuation, risk assessments, and delivery of recommendations;- Preparing executive and Board reports, including investment business cases, and reports on strategic projects and KPIs; and- Working with Zone General Managers to develop a sustaining capital pipeline of works.- Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, engineering, or a related discipline;- Demonstrated experience within either professional services, corporate strategy and planning, management consulting or investment banking environments;- Ability to create and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Demonstrated ability to manage the development of long-term strategic plans;- Ability to lead and manage the planning and execution of complex projects (i.e. mergers and acquisitions, large capital expenditure, productivity programs); and- Ability to structure, analyse and solve complex problems, with the ability to synthesise key findings, conclusions, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
