**Key Requirements**
- Proved experience in human resources or people and culture.
- Experience with talent acquisition and recruitment.
- Belief in the benefits of lived or living experience in the workforce.
- Sound understanding of ER and IR requirements.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
**A bit about the role**
The role of the Senior People and Culture Lead is pivotal in driving Youth Projects' talent attraction, acquisition, and retention strategies. They oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, providing guidance to Youth Projects Leaders while implementing initiatives to uphold employee retention, supervision, and talent management standards.
This role will provide insights and develop strategies to support the organisations workforce development plan and support the CPO to implement a lived & living experience recruitment & retention plan.
With a foundation in strong organisational skills and a proficiency in talent acquisition and retention, they manage multiple tasks and priorities. This role collaborates with employees, managers, and other internal stakeholders, delivering high-quality customer service and addressing People and Culture-related inquiries. Their commitment extends to cultivating strong stakeholder relationships, further enhancing, and enabling our people strategy.

We are an independent, registered charity providing front line support to young people and people experiencing homelessness to open up pathways out of poverty and homelessness - breaking the cycle of disadvantage. Our focus is on respect, client-centred care, and harm prevention so people can lead longer lives, have improved health, meaningful employment, and a greater sense of belonging, safety, and security through our holistic model of care.

- Over 8,000 people accessed our services
- Welcomed 16,431 visits to The Living Room
- 80% of the young people we supported landed sustainable employment or education outcomes
- More than 150,000 coffees were sold through our social enterprise cafes with $73K profit re-directed into homelessness and youth services
- Experienced 130,000+ contacts through our harm minimisation programs
