We are currently in search of an experienced and accomplished **State Sales Manager - WA&SA**. In this role, you will take the lead in guiding our state-based sales representatives, which includes Key Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and the State Sales Support Manager, in achieving their objectives. This high-performing team manages a diverse portfolio of Commercial, Civil, and Volume Housing sales operations.
As part of our team, you will report directly to the Head of Operations and Sales and work closely with our Regional Managers. This collaborative approach ensures a seamless integration of sales strategies and operational excellence.
**The Role**:
As a State Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation by providing operational leadership to our team of sales representatives. Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
- Sales Strategy: Execute and deliver a comprehensive sales strategy in line with company goals and objectives.
- Sales Expertise: Utilise your deep knowledge of sales cycles and strategies to drive success in the role.
- Team Management: Oversee and drive consistency amongst your team of sales professionals, including Key Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and the State Sales Support Manager.
- Leadership: Inspire, coach, and lead your team to high performance, developing leaders and motivating results through others.
- Results-Oriented: Maintain a strong sales drive and a focus on achieving tangible results binging the team on the journey with you.
**About you**:
To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in planning, executing, and delivering sales strategy in a similar environment.
- An in-depth knowledge of sales cycles and sales strategies.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, with experience in managing teams.
- Strong business and financial acumen, capable of improving the bottom line and driving profitable growth.
- Ability to coach, lead, motivate, develop leaders, and inspire high-performance teams.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in preparing reports and using appropriate modes of communication.
