**The Role**:
Recent business growth has created an exciting opportunity for a junior or intermediate level Technical Officer to assist in the delivery of inspections for bridges and specialist structures. This role sits within the Bridge team and will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of inspections and advisory remedial solutions to our clients for a variety of projects, from private asset owners, contractors to state government agencies.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Bridge structural Inspection and report preparation
- Contract document preparation
- Bridge maintenance projects, management and report preparation
- Structural inspections and site supervision
- Civil project management, services location reports and forward works contracts
- Liaison with Consultants and Contractors as required
- Reporting to the responsible Associate or Project Director

**About You**:
You will be a key component of the BG&E’s Bridge team and will strengthen the existing skills and capabilities to complement our other well-established disciplines.

As a Technical Officer you are expected to have:

- Relevant trade or TAFE qualifications
- Between 2-8 years of experience in bridge or asset inspections
- Strong technical skills
- A desire to work in the field undertaking physical inspections as well as in the office completing inspection reports
- Attention to detail
