MERCHANDISE PLANNER | SHERIDAN | ULTIMO

**Exciting Merch Planner role offering the opportunity to**:
Influence the broader business and key decision making
Support Buying by providing astute reporting & analysis to improve productivity at all levels
Optimise Return on Investment through inventory management

**Responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to**:
Create forward season plans in partnership with Buying
Validate forward space requirements for product divisions and departments
Monitor & flag current stock levels & projected stock levels to achieve Retail Sales & Gross Profit plans
Monitor markdown process and product sell through and regularly updating target purchase volumes within product hierarchy
Provide recommendations for products experiencing high/low sell, and reactionary promotions due to poorer than planned trading in a product area
Provide proactive reports on forecast inventory; work with Buying and provide feedback on product
Produce and analyse appropriate reports when evaluating trends & directions for all range reviews and providing insights and recommendations (including option counts, target volumes)
To ensure that merchandise plans are maintained & that buying is in accordance with those approved merchandise plans

What experience do I have?

Proven track record in Planning and approximately 5 years' experience in a similar role and in a medium-large organisation with established systems, processes and team structures
Comfortable leading a high performing team to execute and deliver
Ability to work in an agile, high-pace and changing environment, react appropriately and efficiently, and identify solutions
Confident and effective communicator who can work collaboratively, take on feedback and switch gears quickly and seamlessly
Technical aptitude - ability to grasp technical concepts and details, strong Excel skills
