**About the Opportunity**

Elevate Fresh Trading Performance: Drive commercial insight and decision support for the Commercial Trading Manager - Fresh. This role is dedicated to maximizing Trading performance, pinpointing financial opportunities, and mitigating risks. By delivering actionable analysis and information, empower trading teams to achieve their objectives with precision and impact.

**In this Role**
- Assist Head of Trade - Fresh in managing commercial affairs for the Fresh department.
- Provide necessary information to facilitate supplier negotiations, including JBPs and Trading Terms.
- Collaborate with States/Channel and Trading teams to prepare budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
- Conduct trend analysis and assess KPI variances across Trading departments and Channels, including Retail and Wholesale Sales, Category/Channel Income performance, Inventory management, and Direct market analysis.
- Prepare supplier performance assessments and provide general commercial support, including decision pricing support and investment. Additionally, assist in auditing/back claiming missing income when required and support the broader National Commercial team as needed.

**You’re Likely a Match If** you have**
- Accounting degree or similar
- Strong business partnering and influencing skills that build partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Broad understanding of category management principles and processes
- Ability to translate insights into recommendations and action plans
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage stakeholder requirements
- Advanced excel, Power BI
- Strong financial modelling and system skills
