Acacia Homecare is a care agency based in Melbourne’s inner north that offers support services to aged care and NDIS clients in the comfort of their own home. We mainly cater to residents of the city of Moreland and surrounding suburbs: Brunswick, Brunswick East, Brunswick West, Northcote, Coburg, Pascoe Vale, Pascoe Vale South.

Our services include providing personal care, companionship, respite, transport, light cleaning and domestic assistance, care planning and coordination, and addressing complex needs such as dementia care and post-surgery support.

We are looking for a Support Worker who will start with us in a casual role but will be looking to convert to part/full time position in 6 months.

This role is perfect for you if you are:

- Happy with the $33 rate per hour plus super.
- Live in Melbourne’s inner North and want short travel distances between shifts.
- Someone who is experienced in support work and want to join a company with the possibility of training and upward mobility.
- Expects to be respected and have their opinions heard, have a close working relationship with the director, and participate in the growth of the business.

**Requirements**:

- Must be someone who wants to commit to shifts & build lasting relationships with us and our clients.
- Must have Australian working rights.
- Cert 3 in individual support or equivalent not mandatory but preferable.
- Must undergo manual handling training.
- Must have first aid training.
- Must have valid clearances, (Police check, WWCC, NDIS Screening Check)
- Must have a working car, full drivers licence with third party insurance.
- Speaking a second language is desirable.
- Computer literacy, excellent communication and documentation skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $67.00 per hour
