
Support Worker

We’re looking for a skilled **Support Worker** to assist a participant in **Brunswick VIC and**other participants in **Melbourne VIC**. As a Support Worker at Serenity, you will provide person-centred, high-intensity support to clients in their own homes and the community. Your role will be essential in assisting participants with daily living tasks, personal care, and community access while upholding safety, respect, and independence.
- Demonstrated experience working with high-intensity or complex care clients
- Experience working with people with a psychosocial disability (ID, ASD, BPD, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, depression).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Able to travel in Brunswick, VIC and surrounding suburbs

**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week

- Disability Support: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (required)

- Cert III in Individual Support: Disability & Personal Care (required)
- Driver License (required)
- Comprehensive Car Insurance (with Reliable Vehicle) (required)
- Cert IV in Mental Health (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (preferred)
- COVID-19 vaccinations (preferred)
