**About the Company**

Opportunity to work as a Customer Services Officer to provide administrative and support services for a NSW Government organisation to facilitate operations. This is a 3 month contract with ASAP start date.

**About the Role**
- Identify complex or sensitive customer issues and new trends and promptly escalate to relevant internal staff.
- Act as the first point of contact for booking enquiries, convert enquiries into sales and process bookings in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain the reception and customer facing areas in good order including restocking of merchandise, information and promotional brochures, reprinting of fact sheets and compiling information kits ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Undertake a range of routine administrative tasks and clerical services to support effective operations including, recording public safety incident reports, filing, maintaining records, spreadsheets and databases preparing customer service reports, handling mail and deliveries, managing meeting attendee registration, preparing and updating spreadsheets, arranging couriers and taxis and other ad-hoc duties.
- Maintain the Lost and Found Register ensuring articles are properly handled, logged, stored and returned.
- Sell and promote merchandise, which includes processing credit transactions in accordance with financial policies and procedures

**About You**
- Good organisational skills, initiative and ability to prioritise work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computing skills essential in Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience in record keeping
- Previous experience working and supporting a team
